Three decades of know-how, in every appliance we ship.
SONASHI has been designing home appliances and consumer electronics from Dubai since 1993. The product you take home is the end of a long chain — concept, prototype, factory testing, and field validation — that we control end to end.
We do not chase trends. We pick the categories where we know we can build something that lasts a decade in a hot, humid, demanding climate, and we put real engineering hours into making it work. That is the only kind of “innovation” worth claiming. The rest is marketing.
Four pillars behind every SONASHI product.
Original product design
Every appliance starts with our own industrial design brief — proportions, finish, control layout, and the small details that make a product feel considered. We do not white-label catalogue products and stick a logo on them.
In-house R&D and prototyping
Our engineering team prototypes, instruments, and stress-tests new designs before they reach the factory line. Heat cycles, drop tests, voltage swings, and accelerated wear are part of the routine, not an afterthought.
Manufacturing partnerships, our specs
We partner with established manufacturing facilities and hold them to SONASHI specifications — components, tolerances, finishes, and assembly QC. Sample units from every batch are pulled and tested against the spec sheet before release.
Built for the Gulf
Dust, heat, voltage variation, hard water — the appliances we ship are validated against conditions our customers actually face in the UAE and across the wider region. That is why we have been a household name for thirty years.
Certified for the regions we sell in.
Our products are tested against the safety and performance standards required by the regulatory bodies of every market we serve. Compliance is not a sticker — it is the floor we build on top of.
- ESMA / ECAS conformity (UAE)
- G-Mark Gulf certification
- CE marking for applicable categories
- RoHS — restriction of hazardous substances
- EMC electromagnetic compatibility testing
- Voluntary in-house safety + lifecycle audits
Patents and certifications are signposts — what really matters is that the kettle still boils, the iron still glides, and the speaker still sings two, five, ten years after you bought it. That is the SONASHI test. Everything else follows from it.
